American Dreams: Compare and Contrast

Randy's and Sophe's stories
There are some similar things between Randy's and Sophe's lives. One of those is they wer both immigrants. Another one is when they were children they had a hard life. But both of them surpassed their problems. Now Randy and Sophe are educated and successful people. They wrote their autobiographies and they encurage piople to reach what they want.
There are some differences too.
Randy born in the United States, but was deported with his mother to El Salvador.
Shphe born in Cambodia. She was taken to the killing fields and her father was killed.
Now she is doctor, and Randy is an executive. Both stories shoe us that if you work hard, you can reach your dreams.

Goals for the New Year

I used to make goals sometime ago, but not now. I did not always reach my goals and when that happened I felt disoppinted in myself. That's the reason that I don't do it now anymore. But I know it is a good idea to do it. Making goals helps you to get what you want.
